So Much To Do, So Little Time

As if no one understands this fact of life, I still feel compelled to say it.

I have one more week left where my business is currently located, a week after that to move everything from there to my house, and a couple weeks after that to put the current location back to the condition in which I found it (actually, better condition). Thank goodness for my mom and dad and their truck! They have helped me to build what I need and move what I need.

The anticipated snow/ice storm that came today forced us to move all the dogs we were going to groom today (Sat) to yesterday (Fri). I found myself at work grooming dogs from 7am-7pm. Talk about a lot of dog hair!! I am lucky that my mom came at noon to watch Jade for me. It was a good thing we did because the storm did hit.

Of course, not having Kaz makes life all that much more difficult. I think about him all the time. I wonder where he is and what he is doing. I am always prayerfully hopeful about his safety. I know this time away has been a friendly reminder as to how much I love him and rely on him. That's saying something because most of you know how much of an independent soul I am.

I am anticipating Christmas because it will force me to take a break from all the distractions and needs of my business and our home. I know I will really enjoy some time with family and focusing on a little relaxation. With everything going on it will be nice to recharge.
