Back in the States...

We have arrived back in the good ole USA. Still some more travelling to get to home, but we are state-side. We flew in on a C17. That means, web-seating and extremely cold floors for lack of insulation and very little heating. However, the great thing about this flight is that as soon as you are at cruising altitude you are free to move about at will.

Did I mention that when you fly military cargo planes, usually you actually fly next to the cargo? And any available space is up for grabs. So, most of the time you'll see crew members with their blow-up beds and blankets on the floor. This time there were several children on the flight so most of the space was taken by blankets and toys on the floor.

If you have kids, this is a great way to fly- well, as long as you didn't have to wait 8 hours for the actual flight, or the flight gets cancelled, or you're stuck in the terminal holding area for 3 hours only to be released back to the terminal to then go back through security to get on the original flight.

Oh, well. It's free!

I'm so glad you're home! I missed you a lot. Great to know you are back within cell phone reach. And oh my gosh that is the cutest picture of little Jade drinking her tea! Love it.
